Sorry I couldn’t tell you rest of the story yesterday. I had a lot to do; I always have a lot to do – complete my daily homework, help mom to setup the dishwasher, tidy up our kinder room, water the plants and more. BB won’t lift a finger to help me though he is the one who messes up the room!!!
But I love my naughty BB.
Back to what happened yesterday, in short, dad is mad. Wait a minute! that rhymed! Anyway, when I fell over dad, he was all dressed up for some big meeting. “What? Why? In a park?” you might be wondering right. Dad had some important meeting back at his office. He decided to drop me, BB and mom on his way and pick us up on the way back. As we reached the national park quite early, BB and I insisted him to stay with a little longer.
But after I fell on dad, his office clothes got all dirty; that means he must change!
He had no time to go all the way back home. So he chose to wear what was available; something we keep in our car always for each of us – a pair of summer cloths! As he left for office wearing those, I already saw myself grounded for rest of the week!
After dad left, we three had a lot of fun. We brought along breakfast and lunch packs along with mango juice, chocolates, gummy bears, and all other things we love. Though, my mind kept wandering back to what happened in the morning and what will happen in the evening once dad is home.
Right after lunch dad came back to pick us up – much earlier than planned. All the way from the park to home, I could hear all sounds I never heard before while in the car – the engine, honks from outside, wind rushing and what not! All because, there was total silence inside the car 😐
If dad goes silent, we all go silent!
Once we reached home, I overheard dad and mum talking inside their room (yes, I admit, I spied as I was totally scared about what comes next normally – GROUNDING for days!). Here is what happened: Dad wearing summer clothes in office made it look like as if he was taking a vacation at work (mum once told me that he is on holiday everyday at work… lol… oops… listen!).
But the real problem was that the a/c at his office was something like 18º or so.
Fiend = find and plans = planes.
That made dad shiver with cold so badly that he couldn’t speak properly during his presentation. Though his meeting went well, he looked (or sounded) real silly it seems. He left office right after the meeting because he was still not able to talk properly to his colleagues.
But something saved my day!
An email that mum received! She showed him the email and that made dad forget all of what happened today. I ran off to kinder room as I heard him approaching the door. He came over to our room, hugged me and said well done :). And he reminded me to better be careful next time when I try out an adventure with BB. Phew! I am relieved that he isn’t mad at me! He is not a cold mad dad anymore but a cool dad 😉
Oh! You know what saved my day?
Yesss daaaaaddd…. on my way!!!! Waitttt for meeeee… don’t finish the pizzaaaa!!!!
Dad bought us my favorite dinner – Salami Pizza. Sorryyyy…. I got to run or else I wont get a slice! Talk to you later.
It was not a bad day after all.
